I earn enough money to fall short of our monthly commitments by £100 and the only thing keeping us afloat is tax credits basically. Tax credits we don’t get if only one of us is working.

The girls have the shits. AGAIN! Twice in a week! Ella is giving spontaneous offerings of, what can only be described as Poo Fountain – Luckily? Rowan knows how to use the toilet, because seriously. Dude. Enough of the poo.

Sadly you need to starve the kids for a day, not great with R I know, but it is the only way I know of to kill off the bug
Tax credits you only have to inform them after a couple of weeks no? just in case more work comes up which would mean you would qualify again, also I think if they over pay you and you let them know in the form they send out once a year you can arrange to pay back the extra over a year, although more debt isn’t really a great idea at the mo, Um, not much help over here! I think Mrs Hojo’s right – my past experience is that they take it out of next year’s credits, so it’s not like you’re physically handing over the money.
And yes, starve the girls till they’re better – at least it wont’ be fuelling the fire.
